What We Do And Who We Are? Valor MMA is your home away from home. We call this home, but students should come to class ready to train hard and earn their results. Our classes range from 30 minutes to hour-long packed with fast-paced, high-energy, and encouraging programs created for all ages, skill levels, shapes, and sizes. We challenge every student to push themselves like never before. We pride ourselves in teaching amazing classes as well as creating a community that builds lifelong friendships.

House Rules
Know Before You Go: Please wear comfortable active wear. Valor will rent out gloves for $3. Valor also has had a mandatory wrist wrap policy since 04/2019. New to Valor? Welcome! You are only allowed to attend the Kickboxing Level 1 group class, all levels Kickboxing, MMA, and our stretch group class. To ensure the safety and experience of our students, New Students are not allowed to attend the Level 2 Kickboxing and Muay Thai class.

Safety and Cleaning Procedures
Valor MMA follows the recommended vaccination protocols by the CDC and NYC Health Department. We also follow the law when mandated by the government to check for extra sanitation. Valor cleans periodically to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone.

We love valor!
My son, now 6, has been going to valor since he was 2. He has always been met with warmth and kindness from every instructor - who also demand and pull out the best from the kids. It’s truly the perfect blend of fun, exercise, discipline, and family. I remember how stunned my son was the first time he fooled around enough in class that he didn’t earn his star. The instructor also explained that if he did well the next class he could get two stars. It’s really a great blend of clear expectations, accountability, and coaching/encouragement. Mr. Phipps has created a truly special place. Also - they’re great about having special events and celebrating holidays. So much more than a run of the mill studio.
